Now you can take the Report Writer's famous point and click interface with you into places that no one would dare to take a laptop. Our Pocket Report Writer software is the most dynamic, customizable, mobile, reporting software available.

Best of all, you don't have to give up all of the features of the full Report Writer.

Simply dock any palmtop using WindowsCE 2.1 (or higher)* with your laptop or desktop computer and thanks to Microsoft Active Sync 3.1** (or higher)* the Report Writer and Pocket Report Writer will share reports and specially compiled forms. And as you would expect from a product bearing our name you are not stuck with one or two different kinds of report forms. You can build and compile forms that suit your needs to use on your CE or PocketPC computer. (CE or PocketPC computer sold separately)

Our software works on PocketPC based devices such as the HP Ipaq or Dell Axim. The Pocket Report Writer does not currently work with handheld PC's based on the Palm OS such as the HandSpring Visor or Sony CLIÉ™.

Cost Advisor $179.95
3-D Inspection Systems has entered into an agreement with Marshall & Swift, LP, publishers of the Dodge Cost Data Books, to develop software to access and import validated cost data into inspection reports produced by the 3-D Report Writer.

The Cost Advisor software, featuring instant access to more than 37,000 validated cost items contained in the Dodge Unit Cost Book, Dodge Repair and Remodel Cost Book and the Dodge Electrical Cost books, was released on CD-ROM in January 1999. Inspectors can report cost advice by a user-selectable range, based on percentage or by fixed amount and can specify exactly what qualifying text will accompany any cost advice brought into a report.
